Wayne Parker is a writer covering fatherhood. He is the father of five children ranging in age from 21 to 32. He has spent over 30 years in local government management and has worked as a consultant and trainer dealing in work-life balance and other career focused issues. He has also helped many, many fathers with their fatherhood and parenting concerns through his coaching, writing and mentoring.
In Wayne's professional work, he has helped employees, clients and organizations improve their focus at home and balance their work and family lives. He is also the author of Power Dads: The Ten Basic Principles Successful Fathers Use to Raise Responsible and Happy Children. He has also been a lay religious leader assigned to help families in crisis. And he has first hand experience with five children of his own. Wayne is also a certified life coach and popular speaker on parenting, work-life balance and family issues.
Wayne has a master's degree from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University with an emphasis in public sector management and organizational behavior.
