Stained Lips and Glossy Eyelids

This makeup look is perfect for someone who wants to try something bold but not too bold, and keep other features minimal yet polished. Stained lips are always a great way to go when wanting to change up your lip color, especially if you have commitment issues towards the bold power lipstick move. To re-create this look, start by taking really great care of your skin, massaging in a face oil like this one here from Clarins, then an illuminating moisturizer like this one from Tata Harper. A light foundation, filling in of the eyebrows, and a soft cream shadow on the eye lid in a neutral color is all you need before you top it off with a little gloss on top. For the lip stain, be sure your lips are exfoliated first, and then you can apply a matte stain lightly and blend with your finger or you can apply a deep lipstick color very lightly and blend as well. It's all about building the color and texture here, so you can finish when you're happy with your results. Finish with a light highlight on the skin, like this powder from Makeup Revolution. Want to pull your hair back? Smooth some Marula Light Hair Treatment and Styling Oil in your locks before pulling it back in a low chignon bun.

Cool Girl Eyeliner

I love the look of this liner, as it's not perfectly applied and takes no time to duplicate at all. It gives off the vibe that you care, but not that you tried so hard to forcefully get it perfect, a great way to enhance your eye makeup for going out. You can use a waterproof cream pencil to fill in the waterline, and then lightly line the top and bottom of your eye smudging it as you go. Be sure to fill in your eyebrows, add a pop of highlight under the brow bone, and finish with a few coats of your favorite mascara. The lip color shown here is barely visible, so you can easily apply a soft lip gloss or balm to re-create it. A little cream blush on the cheeks and you're all set for whatever you might encounter. Want your skin to look and photograph smooth and dewy? Apply this Instant Firming Beauty Shot Serum before moisturizer to perfectly prime your skin for photographs.

Clean Skin, Vampy Lip

This makeup look is perfect for someone who wants to make a statement but has little time to do it. The eye look is a soft nude shadow with mascara and defined brows (yes, you can skip the liner here!) Cheeks are rosy, and of course the spotlight is shining right on the deep, vampy colored lip. You can go dark berry, deep red, crimson, or even a dark blue or violet with this look, so try em' all and find what fits best. Spray some dry shampoo throughout your hair to mess it up just enough, check yourself over once more in the mirror and head out the door ready to turn heads!

Do you run late most mornings and don't have any time to do your hair? This beauty pillow made with memory foam and a tri-silk cover will literally preserve your blow-out while you sleep, helping you wake ready to run your fingers through your hair and still have volume. Sleeping on this form of silk will also keep slit ends from forming, and help ease that tech neck from too much time on Instagram.

Not Your Average Smoky Eye

I love seeing smoky eyes that use vibrant colors versus just black or deep browns. This look is great to try if you want all the drama, but a prettier hue too. Be sure to prep your lids first with an eyeshadow primer to ensure nothing moves or creases. Then you can start playing with your shadow in the colors of your choice. Blend the shadow on the lid, a deeper tone of the same color family in the crease, and top it off with a nice bold liner and mascara. While dramatic eye looks do best with minimal lips, you can play up the color a little by incorporating plum or violet tones. Always be sure to remove eye makeup with a gentle remover like this one from Embryolisse at the end of the night so nothing stings or irritates your eyes.

Soft and Monochromatic Hues

Try a natural makeup look using the same tones, to give off a modern monochromatic vibe that looks pretty and wakes up the skin. I love how rose and peach fuse together to give this look just enough color but is wearable every day, too. Brush through the eyebrows after lightly defining them with a pencil like this one here from Benefit, and apply a sheer wash of color to the eyelids next. You can use cream or powder shadow for this look, and a versatile tip is if you use cream on the lids, go head and use it on the cheek too for your blush, and if it suits for a lip color you can use it on the lips as well. Pop some gloss in the center of the lips and start swooning over this fresh faced beauty look.
