His first missed cut on the PGA Tour happened at the 1997 Bell Canadian Open, which was the 26th tournament of his PGA Tour career. Woods didn't miss another cut for eight years. Below we list every tournament where Woods has missed a cut on the PGA Tour. It's easy to do, because - despite his late-career injury issues and other struggles - there still aren't many of them. All of Tiger Woods' PGA Tour Missed Cuts Since turning pro in late 1996, Tiger Woods has missed the 36-hole cut in 20 PGA Tour events. Then There Was that Record No-Cut Streak When it comes to PGA Tour cuts, the thing Woods will always be most famous for is holding the PGA Tour record for most consecutive tournaments without missing a cut - 142. Between his first missed cut in 1997 and his second in 2005, Woods went 142 tournaments without missing a cut. Coincidentally, the streak finally ended at the tournament named after the man whose record Woods broke - the Byron Nelson Championship. Featured Video
