All prices given are for a copy of the comic book in near-mint condition (using a guide to the condition scale of comic books, near mint is typically the best condition comic books can realistically be found in).

World's Finest Comics #2 - $10,000

Issue 2 of World's Finest Comics — DC Comic

This 1941 comic was the second issue of DC Comics (then called National)'s book that contained both Superman and Batman stories in it. This was the first issue of the series to be titled "World's Finest Comics," the title it would retain for the next 45 years. In the early days of the series, Batman and Superman had their own solo stories. It wasn't until inflation led to the series shrinking down to fewer pages that Batman and Superman began to share one story, leading to decades of team-ups of the two heroes.
