Getty Images There were a lot of fashion trends seen at the Golden Globes this year, but none as prominent at the choker necklace. It's hard to tell if Jennifer Lopez is wearing a choker necklace or if the jewels around her neck are part of her gown. Regardless, wearing a choker with a jewel neckline is a great way to add some bling to a simple look. 03 of 13 Olivia Wilde Photo: Getty/John Shearer. Olivia Wilde broke up all that open space with her plunging neckline using a choker. If you noticed, there weren't a lot of statement earrings at the Golden Globes. If you have a short neck you need to make sure not to choose one that is thick or bulky and go for styles that sit lower on the clavicle. The style that Leslie Mann wore to the Golden Globes isn't the best choice. Not sure if you have a short neck. Try lowering your chin to your chest. If you can easily rest your chin on your chest you have a short neck so choose chokers mindfully.
