Konami's Super C is the 1988 sequel to Contra, which popularized the side-scrolling shooter genre. Originally for the Nintendo Entertainment System, Super C has been re-released on several platforms. The original cheats for Super C work in all other versions.

These cheats are for the Nintendo Virtual Console version of Super C for Wii, Wii U, and 3DS. They also work with the NES Classic version.

Super C Cheat Codes

Input these codes at the title screen to activate cheats.

Cheat Code Effect
Right, Left, Down, Up, A, B, Start Player 1 starts with 10 lives.
Right, Left, Down, Up, A, B, Select, Start Player 2 starts with 10 lives.
Hold A + B, then press Start Access the sound test.
After beating the game, press B, A, Start Begin a new game with your old score and all your lives.

Super C Availability

Super C has been released on most modern Nintendo consoles. Although it is no longer possible to download retro games for the Wii, the game is available in the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS eShops. Super C also comes preloaded on the NES Classic retro gaming console, and it is included in the Contra Anniversary Collection for Nintendo Switch.
