Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader Cheat Codes

Cheat codes are entered as passwords, and most cheats require two passwords to activate. After you enter the first code, R2-D2 does not react, and the entry field is reset. When you enter the second password, R2-D2 beeps if both codes are correct. Some unlockables (such as the Millennium Falcon) can only be used on certain levels.

How to Play Bonus Missions

Bonus missions are hidden on the level select screen. Here's how to find them:

Bonus Mission How to Find It
Death Star Escape Highlight Death Star Attack, then press Up.
The Asteroid Field Highlight Battle of Hoth, then press Up.
Triumph of the Empire Highlight Strike At the Core, then press Up.
Revenge on Yavin Complete Triumph of the Empire with a medal, then highlight it and press Right.
Endurance Highlight Revenge on Yavin, then press Right.

Quick Start and Quick Reset

Hold L + R as you select a mission to start it immediately with the default ship. To reset the game, hold X + Y + B + Start.

Rogue Squadron 2 Alternate Ending

To see a different ending sequence, don't enter the big temple at the end of the game. Instead, stay outside and wait for the enemy transports to arrive, then destroy them.

Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2: Rogue Leader Glitches

Rogue Leader is littered with graphical glitches and textual errors, but there is one particularly useful bug. If you crash your ship right before an intermission sequence starts, your shields will be fully restored when gameplay resumes, and you won't lose a life.
