Sometimes mere words cannot express what's in our hearts; this is when music comes in. What makes music a universal language is that, even if you don't understand the words, you can still feel the emotions expressed in a song. They say artists are at their most creative during times of extreme joy or despair. This is perhaps why so many talented singer-songwriters have penned heartfelt songs about the tragic events that occurred on 9/11. Here are links to several compositions written to honor the heroes and remember the victims of September 11, 2001.
