Oily Skin - What Skin Care Steps Should You Be Doing?

If you have oily skin, you may be overwhelmed with the amount of products on the market specifically targeted for oily skin. In no time flat you can spend a lot of money and still not know if you're taking care of your oily skin the way you should be.

Here is a list of what you should be doing daily and weekly to make sure your oily skin is getting all of the TLC it needs.  You can use products that are labeled "for oily skin" or "acne prone skin" just make sure that they do not overly dry out your skin.

 Sometimes people who have oily skin tend to go overboard with harsh, drying skin care products.  You can definitely mix and match your skin care products if you have oily and acne prone skin.  Just be sure to look for products that say "won't clog pores", "oil free", or "non-comedogenic".

    • Use acne treatments as needed: Using a spot treatment or an all over face acne treatment will help combat acne and help keep it at bay.
