The Sims: 2 Pets was first released as an expansion pack for The Sims 2 on PC, and was later released as a stand-alone simulation video game for consoles. The PlayStation 2 version of The Sims 2: Pets has cheat codes that unlock secret outfits and other accessories for your virtual dogs and cats.

These cheats are exclusively for The Sims 2: Pets on PS2. There are also cheat codes for the The Sims 2: Pets on PC, The Sims 2: Pets on Xbox, and The Sims 2: Pets on PSP.

Some cheats for The Sims 2 on PS2 also work in The Sims 2: Pets on PS2. There are separate cheats for The Sims 2: Pets on PC.

How to Activate Cheats in The Sims 2: Pets on PS2

Like in other versions of The Sims 2, activating the cheat gnome is a prerequisite to use most other cheats. To turn on the cheat gnome, press the following buttons on the PS2 controller at any time while playing: L1, L1, R1, X, X, Up.

Use the D-pad instead of the analog stick to enter directions.
