Shelley Elmblad has focused on teaching people how to save money, both in the traditional and non-traditional sense. Elmblad's experience includes owning and operating small businesses, teaching personal finance basics, and also designing and teaching software classes. 

She received a BSBA from the University of Wisconsin, as well as a minor in organizational communications. Currently, Elmblad is an editor for the Retirement Living Information Center and an online billing software contributing editor at ConsumerAffairs.com.

Elmblad holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin with a major in management and a minor in communications.
