Sally McGraw

Sally McGraw is a Minneapolis-based freelance writer, blogger, and personal stylist. In addition to writing her popular daily style and body image blog Already Pretty, she is a columnist for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, a contributor to the Huffington Post, and the creator and co-host of the weekly Trendy or Timeless segment on Fox 9 News.

Sally has published a style guide titled Already Pretty: Learning to Love Your Body by Learning to Dress it Well. She has also given guest lectures at the University of Minnesota and St. Catherine University, taught community education classes, and has given presentations on style and body image at private companies.

Sally holds a degree in creative writing from Binghamton University. Although her training is as a writer, she's also learned the ins and outs of running a business over the years. She watched her father strike out on his own to launch what is now one of the most successful landscape architecture firms in the world and was inspired to try her hand at entrepreneurship.

She is a self-taught shopper. And a darned good one at that.

LiveAbout and Dotdash

LiveAbout is a reference site focused on entertainment, activities, and hobbies. We know that time away from the stress of work and responsibilities at home is limited, and we want to help you make the most of those precious hours.

That’s why our coverage is a lovable jumble of urban legends, sports history, and esoteric trivia. Our articles discuss everything from fashion advice to UFO sightings, all so you can make the most of your time off.

For more than 20 years, Dotdash brands have been helping people find answers, solve problems, and get inspired. We are one of the top-20 largest content publishers on the Internet according to comScore, and reach more than 30% of the U.S. population monthly. Our brands collectively have won more than 20 industry awards in the last year alone, and recently Dotdash was named Publisher of the Year by Digiday, a leading industry publication.
