Following an undergraduate degree in physical geography, Rick worked as a packaging recycling and reverse logistics specialist for Canada Safeway, a grocery retailer. After receiving an executive MBA, he has worked for many years as a freelance writer, commentator, and consultant in the area of sustainable packaging, pallets, and supply chain. He is currently writing the second edition of "Pallets: A North American Perspective."

LeBlanc provides regular freelance writing and editing services, including marketing communications content, to associations and companies in the pallet and packaging sector and produces a leading website dedicated to reusable packaging, www.packagingrevolution.net.
