You can make a similar scrub using these ingredients for much less.Pineapple and papayas are not only delicious to eat (oh how I miss my beach vacations), but the juice from both are a natural exfoliant. The honey calms the skin. This isn't a scrub, as much as it is an exfoliating mask.Ingredients for Papaya and Pineapple Mask1/4 cup of cubed fresh pineapple, the hard stems cut off and discarded 1/4 cup of cubed fresh papaya. 2 tbsp brown sugar1 tbsp sweet almond oil1 tbsp manuka honey (or regular honey if you don't have manuka).InstructionsMash the fruit together until it's a pulp.Add the other ingredients, and combine well.UseApply the mixture to your skin, and leave it on for a few minutes.Rinse your face with lukewarm water and apply a warm washcloth to your face to open up your pores. Take care not to wipe your face or pull with the washcloth. Finally, apply your favorite moisturizer to your freshly cleansed skin to seal in hydration. The Benefits of ExfoliationUse this scrub just once or twice a week to keep your skin in tip-top shape. Start slowly and find a frequency that is appropriate for your skin's particular needs. It's important year-round to exfoliate both your face and your body, but it tends to be even more important in the winter when conditions are especially drying to the skin. Show Full Article
