Where to Find Online Faculty and Adjunct Positions

As the field of distance education grows, so too does the number of college-level jobs for online faculty. And many of these jobs--at both online colleges and brick-and-mortar universities--are home based and/or part time. For the purpose of this list, the term "online faculty" encompasses everything from teaching assistants to deans--including online adjunct faculty, dissertation mentors, and course instructors.

American Public University System

Encompassing American Public University (APU) and American Military University (AMU), this for-profit online higher education institution hires online adjunct faculty members as well as a few administrative positions as work-at-home jobs.
