The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Weather Cheat Codes (PC)

Turn off the rain in Oblivion and more

The PC edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion has cheat codes that allow players to control the in-game weather patterns. Oblivion weather commands can be entered using the cheat console.

These cheats are exclusively available for the Windows version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.

How to Change the Weather in Elder Scrolls IV

To use weather cheat codes while playing Oblivion:

  1. Press the tilde (~) key to bring up the cheat console.

  2. To change the weather instantly, type fw followed by the weather code, then press Enter. For example, to make it rain, enter:

    fw 38EF2

Alternatively, enter sw followed by the weather code for a more gradual weather change.

  3. Press tilde (~) again to dismiss the console.

There are also item cheat codes for Oblivion that instantly add items to your inventory.
