How to Enter Cheat Codes for Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

While playing the game, press the tilde key (~) to open the cheat console, then enter the desired cheat. To add items to your inventory, use the syntax player.additem ID quantity.

For example, to get five Glow Dust in Oblivion, type the following into the cheat console and press Enter.
