Natsumi Ajisaka is a freelance writer who has reported on the intersection of LGBTQ+ identity and pop culture, Asian American politics, and, of course, beauty. Her work has appeared on CollegeFashion.net. She currently works as a grant writer for Playground Youth, a Brooklyn non-profit dedicated to queer and trans people of color. Her interest in beauty owes itself to testing a sizeable chunk of skincare products on the market, taking YouTube reviews with a grain of salt, and experimenting with makeup as a means of expressing her femme identity. One of the few benefits of cystic acne, in her opinion, is finding out which foundations truly do it all. Natsumi has a BS in magazine journalism from Syracuse University.
