Mortal Kombat: Armageddon PS2 Fatalities Cheats

The list of fatalities for Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on the PlayStation 2 is very long; however, if you can remember a few specific button combinations, it's possible to pull off epic finishing maneuvers with every character.

How Fatalities Work in MK: Armageddon

Fatalities are a staple of the Mortal Kombat franchise, but they work differently in MK: Armageddon. Instead of each character having unique finishing maneuvers, all characters can use a combination of different moves to finish off opponents. Think of it as creating your own custom fatality.

Fatality moves are divided into three types: Chains, transitions, and finishers. Chains and finishers deal damage while transitions re-position your opponent so that you can perform different chains and finishers. Some finishers require certain transitions to set up; for example, you must pull out your sword to decapitate your opponent.

How to Use Fatalities in MK: Armageddon

Fatalities can only be used in the final round of a fight once an opponent's life bar has been completely drained. When you see Finish Him! on the screen, stand next to the opponent and quickly enter the code on the PS2 controller to begin executing a fatality. You can keep performing moves until the progress bar that appears on-screen is depleted.

Fatalities cannot be started with transitions; they must begin with a forward chain or forward finisher. To use transitions, perform at least one forward chain before transitioning the opponent. After that, you can link moves by entering the appropriate button combinations as soon as your character finishes their current move. Do as many transitions you like and end with a finisher to have it count as a fatality.

Normal Character Fatalities and Finishing Moves

Most characters can use the following moves as part of fatalities. Forward chains must be executed while facing the opponent. The tables are categorized by the position the player or the opponent must be in to execute a move. Transition moves refer to the position the player or the opponent will be in after the move is executed.

Sword fatalities can only be performed by characters with swords.
