Unwelcome Men's Body Hair That Needs Grooming

Both men and women carry a variety of opinions when it comes to where it is attractive for a man to have hair, and how to groom it. I do think, however, it is there are certain areas that need particular attention and continued maintenance. Here are my recommendations for unwelcome men's body hair that needs grooming.

Unibrow: This is one of the greatest faux pas that men are guilty of. Your eyebrows are meant to be two individual rows of hair growing over each eye, not one straight-length of hair.

If you just have a few stray hairs, use a tweezer and pluck them right out. If you have a serious furry connection, then you may need to enlist a professional and have it waxed off. It is quick and stings just a little, then you can easily maintain the clean separation with a pair of tweezers as a hair starts to grow back in.

Ears: Many men are plagued with ear hair, but guess what folks; you do not have to tolerate it. A simple tweeze or careful trim with a blunt-nosed scissor will take you from looking like a geezer to a more respectable-looking man. If you do not want to bother with it, you can always ask your hairstylist or barber to trim your ear hair for you. Not only does it look awful, unkempt ear hair invites earwax and other debris to build and potentially cause irritation and issues for you.

Nose: There is nothing more distracting than a guy with hairs shooting out from his nostrils.

If you have a single tray hair, give it a quick tweeze. It will only sting for a short moment. Those men with a bushel of hair growing from your nose, you will want to carefully trim the hairs with either a blunt-nosed scissor or purchase an electric trimmer specifically for the nose. Nose trimmers are a cylinder trimmer that inserts shallowly into your nostril and quickly trims the excess hair.

Shoulders: You don’t want to look like a caveman, do you? Just get rid of that shoulder hair because it is just plain unattractive. Usually it manifests in fine tufts of hair that can easily be waxed or shaved off, or you can use a cream depilatory to easily wipe it away.

Back: Chest hair may be sexy, but a sweater-full of back hair is not so much. Treat yourself to a waxing at your local spa. The professionals will remove the hair quickly as it is a difficult angle to try and handle yourself. Follow up with back facial and you will feel clean, smooth and relieved to be rid of all that itchy hair.

Buttocks: Typically this is an extension from the back hair and can also be removed by your professional esthetician. You may even go as far as the depths of your butt crack. Women do this all the time. It is called a Brazilian wax (removing all the hair from the pubic region, including the butt crack).

Toes: Men’s feet are not very attractive to begin with and many men ignore their feet all together. I do recommend getting a pedicure now and again to keep the nails trimmed and skin exfoliated. Some guys have unsightly hair on their toes and waxing, shaving or tweezing off the hairs will greatly improve the feet’s overall appearance.
