Marie Redding is a journalist and trend-follower who has always been a fashion fanatic obsessed with lingerie. She has interviewed countless numbers of lingerie designers, trend experts and fabric experts, and loves finding out about all the latest bra and shapewear innovations.

As a teenager, Marie volunteered to work at New York Fashion Week just to sneak into the designer shows -- and meet her idol, Betsey Johnson. And later, when she finally met the 'Queen of Corset-Inspired Clothing,' Vivienne Westwood, she was over the moon.

Experience

As a freelance writer and lingerie expert, Marie covers the intimate apparel industry, as well as topics including: lingerie trends, "what to wear for your body shape," and bra fitting.

Marie has also covered the beauty and fragrance industries extensively for various trade publications. She has written about packaging, design, "green" products, recycling issues, natural products and organic beauty ingredients. Her work often appears in Nutritional Outlook magazine.

Marie began her journalism career as a fashion writer at the New York Daily News, where she covered fashion trends, beauty, and bargain shopping.

Education

Marie attended New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology and has a B.S. Degree in Marketing Communications.
