All veterans can visit a LongHorn Steakhouse this November 11 to get a free appetizer or dessert in honor of Veterans Day. There's also a full table 10% discount they're giving away, which means even your family and friends can take advantage of Veterans Day. In addition to this one are many other restaurants that usually do something similar for Veterans Day, including Red Lobster, Outback Steakhouse, Chili's, IHOP, Olive Garden, T.G.I. Fridays, Red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, O'Charley's, BJ's, Golden Corral, and Denny's, which are all giving away free food. When Veterans Get Their Free Food at LongHorn Steakhouse Veterans must stop in at LongHorn Steakhouse on the actual day of Veterans Day to get their free appetizer or dessert. Veterans Day falls on Wednesday, November 11, this year. Although all locations are probably participating, I do highly recommend contacting your local LongHorn Steakhouse before heading out on Wednesday. That way, you can confirm with them that they are having this free Veterans Day offer, as well as to know the best time for coming in. Who's Eligible for the LongHorn Steakhouse Veterans Day Free Food Any veteran or active service member can come in to LongHorn Steakhouse on Veterans Day to get their free dessert or appetizer. This means family members, co-workers, friends, and other guests that may come with the veteran can not get the Veterans Day offer. Note: This restriction isn't unique to LongHorn Steakhouse, but is instead completely normal for these types of Veterans Day deals — only the veteran is able to take advantage while other guests must pay the normal price for their meal. However, because LongHorn Steakhouse is also giving out a 10% table discount, anyone else that's splitting the check with the eligible customer is able to take part in the discount. This means that the 11th is the only day you can take advantage of this free Veterans Day offer at LongHorn Steakhouse. As is written above, only veterans can get a free dessert or appetizer on Veterans Day. Anyone else the veteran happens to bring with them to eat (family, friends, etc.) must pay the regular price for their food. Eligible customers are only eligible if they can provide proof of military service. Anyone else who tries to get the Veterans Day free food at LongHorn Steakhouse may be turned away.
