Ken Simmons is a former writer for ThoughtCo who covered rhythm and blues (R&B), soul, and pop music for four years. Ken has more than two decades of experience as a writer, editor, and interviewer creating content for television, radio, print, and the web.
Based in New York City, Ken works as a freelance writer for ABC News, the New York Celebrity page of The Examiner and TheLoop21. Ken received a Masters of Science (M.S.) degree in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Broadcasting from the City University of New York, Queens College.
