Kelci Lynn Lucier is a former writer for Thought co who specialized in writing about college life. Her background includes work as an advisor in college admissions, in college residence halls, in student activities and residence life offices, and dean of students office. Kelci was also a program officer with the Great Lakes Colleges Association, where she worked with 12 member colleges to design cohesive course programs.

Kelci wrote the weekly U.S. News & World Report blog, The College Experience. Kelci Lynn Lucier received a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Higher Education Administration from Harvard University in 2000. She holds a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) in English and Comparative Literary Studies from Occidental College.
