Jamie Littlefield is an education writer with more than 11 years of experience. As an online instructor and instructional designer, she has considerable experience in mentoring students in nontraditional settings. Littlefield contributed to multiple textbooks and taught distance education courses at both the high school and college levels. She also served on the advisory board of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) for seven years.
Littlefield's writing about distance learning and eLearning appears in a variety of media outlets. Some of these include the Huffington Post, Psychology Today, the Salt Lake Tribune, and Deseret News. Her work focuses on alternative and open forms of education. Littlefield was part of a TEDx talk in 2016, where she spoke about Serendipitous Design.
