Hulk Hogan WWE and WCW Timeline

When Hulk Hogan beat the Iron Sheik to win the WWE Championship, Hulkamania was born and took the nation by storm. During the first year of Hulk’s title reign, there were no PPV events. At the time, the house show title defenses were the most important and no house show was more important to the WWE during that era than the monthly Madison Square Garden show. For that year, I will list Hulk’s MSG title defenses. Starting with The War to Settle the Score, which was broadcast on MTV, I have listed every PPV, Saturday Night’s Main Event, Clash of Champions, and title change that he has been involved in. For the record, Hulk wrestled in many promotions for several years prior to winning the WWE. The reason those matches are not listed is because they were not seen by a nationwide audience.
