Gregg Katzman is a former writer for ThoughtCo who served as the expert on the entire Marvel Comics universe. His area of expertise includes movies, books, and fan-made creations. Katzman fell in love with Marvel Comics when he was seven years old. Thanks to the animated shows, exciting movies, and, of course, entertaining comics, he found himself wholly absorbed by all that the Marvel Universe had to offer. 

Katzman's freelance writing experience dates back to 2011. He writes reviews of comics and movies for a variety of publications. He contributes content to Comic Book Resources (,,,, and for his blog, ComicBook He is the marketing coordinator, and was the entertainment editor, with UGO Entertainment in New York City, worked with ReedPop as a marketing coordinator during the 2017 New York Comic Con, and worked in marketing and events for Midtown Comics.


Gregg Katzman earned a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) in Communications with an emphasis in Mass Media from the University of Hartford in 2007.
