Frank Angst is a former writer for The Balance Careers covering sports.

Angst covered horse racing for the "Thoroughbred Times" for 10 years and now works as a staff writer at BloodHorse Publications. While working for the "Portsmouth Daily Times," Angst covered the Cincinnati Bengals. He covered Marshall University football and basketball while writing for the Charleston (West Virginia) Gazette. In 2008, Angst completed a children’s book on Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson.

Besides his sportswriting career, Angst also has coached track and field and football at the high school and junior high school levels. Angst played football and competed for the track and field team at Butler University.
