Sept. 19 - Juan Manuel Marquez, Las Vegas, W 12 The 2010s: Wins More Titles Mayweather's pace of professional fights slowed considerably in this decade, with the boxer fighting only once or twice a year, but he did pick up more belts. 2010 May 1 - Shane Mosley, Las Vegas, W 12 2011 Mayweather won the WBC welterweight title by knocking out Victor Ortiz in a September Las Vegas bout -- in the fourth round no less. In July, the World Boxing Organization stripped Mayweather of his welterweight title, after he refused to defend the belt against a challenger. He did defend his WBC and WBA titles in a September bout against Andre Berta. May 2 - Manny Pacquiao, Las Vegas, W 12Sept 12 - Andre Berto, Las Vegas, W 12 2017 In another much-anticipated bout, Mayweather fought Conor McGregor, a mixed martial artist, and boxer as well as a former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion, and won by technical knockout in the 10th round.
