Purchase Ice Dance Music Directly From Figure Skating Governing Bodies: Ice dance test and competition music can be purchased directly from U.S. Figure Skating, Skate Canada, and the International Skating Union. Most pattern ice dance music tracks that figure skaters use are is owned and copyrighted by the ISU. Lloyd Silverman’s Ice Dance Music: Lloyd Silverman is an adult ice dancer who has put together a wonderful set of social ice dance CDs. The set can be ordered by e-mail directly from Mr. Silverman. To order, send an to email email@example.com. There is no charge for the music. After the set arrives and is considered satisfactory, the buyer needs to only pay for shipping and for the storage case. Programmed session ice dance music is commonly used at social ice dance sessions and at ice dance weekends There is also a Christmas ice dance social ice dance program CD set. Announcements on what the "next dance is" are made before each dance. The music was put together from several sources, mainly from ballroom dancing CDs from Europe. Although Rinx Records music is timed for roller dances, ice dancers may want to use some of Rinx Records dance music for practice. Rinx Records also has a Christmas dance music collection that is fun to skate to during the holiday season. Rinx Records makes all the set tempo organ music for roller skating's dances. The international tempo music done by Rinx Records can also be purchased through USA Rollersports. Ice Dance Music Exchange: Ice Dance Music Exchange may be the most economical way to purchase ice dance music. Several options are available. The first option is an Ice Dance Music Player DVD disk that includes 450 ice dance tunes. Users can copy the music from a DVD drive to a computer's hard disk, and make their own audio CDs of pattern ice dance music. The music can also be uploaded to either a PC or Apple laptop or a tablet computer.In addition to the DVD option, Ice Dance Music Exchange sells three different CDs of low ice dance music. One of the disks has selections recut to match US Figure Skating's requirements for "8-Bar Introductions."There is also social or practice ice dance session music which includes two CDs with announcements before each dance. One social ice dance session CD is a disk of ice dances at the silver level and below, and the other disk includes higher level ice dances. The dances on the social dance program CDs are in a random order. The social ice dance CDs also come with 8-1/2 by 11-inch cards that can be posted at a rink entrance during social ice dance sessions.In addition, there is a 33-dance disk of figure skating test dances. That disk includes one track of each test dance. Th dances play the standard competition introductions.Ice dance coaches, rinks, and figure skating clubs may want to purchase the "Set of 3" set.
