Ron Slomowicz is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles about dance and club music for over nine years. Based out of Nashville, Slomowicz has posted articles online about the dance scene for over 10 years. He began spinning tracks on the radio in 1995 and moved to spin dance tracks in nightclubs in 1997. By 2006, Slomowicz made a move from nightclub DJ to laptop VJ, mixing music videos into his live sets.

Slomowicz's written work appears in IDJ Magazine,,,, and His expertise in the field of techno music and dance club culture comes from over 25 years in the nightlife scene of various cities, including Nashville and New York. He has spun guest spots everywhere from New York to South Beach.

Slomowicz was part of the production-remix team Piper. The team hit number one on the Billboard Club Chart with a remix of Kimberley Locke's Band of Gold and Fall. The team has also done remixes of Kylie Minogue, LeAnn Rimes, and Wynonna Judd. Slomowicz hosts a radio mix show on WRVU Nashville and WRFN 107.1 FM.  



Ron Slomowicz received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Vanderbilt University in 1995.
