There may never be a quiet moment in Diane's life as she is the founder, chief executive officer, and editorial director of Retrograde Communications, the editor-in-chief, executive producer, and writer at Here Media, Inc., and a freelance content provider and consultant. Retrograde Communications and Here.Inc., produce several award-winning LGBTQ publications, websites, and programming including Here-TV channel, The Advocate, Pride.com, HIV Plus Magazine, and the Out Traveler Magazine. The firms also produce several web-series which include, HIV Stops With Me, The T With Dr. D, My Health My Way, and others.
Diane has four novels and one memoir to her credit and is working on a new non-fiction book. She was the co-creator of the true crime television show Devil's in the Details (Screaming Flea Prod., 2015) and wrote commentary for Green it Forward, promoting solar automobiles via a road trip. Diane's experience includes being the former editor-in-chief at Curve Magazine, a former writer and board member at Bitch Magazine, former editor-in-chief and publisher at Alice Magazine, an executive editor at Girlfirends Magazine, and an editorial consultant with On Our Backs Magazine. She was named one of the PowerUps, Ten Powerful Gay Women in Showbiz in 2006.
Diane Anderson-Minshall studied Mass Communications and Media Studies at Tulane University, She took courses in Communications and Theater at Xavier University and graduated with a B.A. in Communications and Humanities from New College of California.
