Dana Hinders is a freelance writer and designer who specializes in creating and writing about origami and related paper crafts. Dana first became interested in origami as a way to create low-cost embellishments for her scrapbook layouts. This led to creating origami greeting cards, envelopes, gift boxes, and holiday decorations, as well as writing opportunities with Kids Craft 1-2-3 and Love to Know. 


 Dana earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Iowa in 2003.
