Craig Jarvis is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles on surfing. One of South Africa’s most highly regarded surf journalists, he currently writes for Tracks magazine, an Austrailian publication that bills itself as "The Surfer's Bible."

Craig formerly worked as the editor of Zigzag surfing magazine in South Africa and the field editor of The Surfer's Path. His work has also been published in Stab Magazine and The Surfer's Journal, and he has authored several books on surfing, including "South African Surf: The Swell Seekers' Guide," "The Bluffers Guide To Surfing," and "Paddle Tales."

Education

Craig attended school in Cape Town, South Africa, but his true education came from surfing, which has taken him all over the world.
