Now a very popular country singer, Cole Swindell has taken the country music genre by storm. This biography of Cole Swindell can give you a little more information about the singer.

Swindell was born in Bronwood, Georgia. He moved to Nashville where he ran the merchandise for a major country music star -- and fellow frat brother -- Luke Bryan. In 2010, he signed a publishing deal and worked as a songwriter. In 2013, he signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records, which released his major-label debut "Cole Swindell in 2014. The album's lead-off single "Chillin' It" topped out at #1 on the country music charts.

Cole Swindell Rises 

"I was just a big fan of his music and very influenced by his songs," Swindell said in a 2014 interview. "I ultimately moved to Nashville and I was applying downtown trying to find a job to pay the bills and [Luke Bryan] happened to need a merch guy so, man, I didn't plan it like that, but getting to learn from a new artist at that point and now he's one of the biggest stars out there… it’s pretty cool to say I went from merchandise to having my own merchandise now, so it's pretty crazy."
