Experience

Christopher Del Sole is a former writer for ThoughtCo who contributed articles on snowboarding for three years. Christopher started as a ski instructor at Okemo Mountain Resort in Vermont in 1998 and has taught snowboarders of all ages and abilities since 2003. He was certified by the Professional Ski Instructors of America and the American Association of Snowboard Instructors (PSIA-AASI) in 2005.

Currently, Christopher is a coach and instructor in the Amplitude PLUS freeride program, Okemo's seasonal program for advanced skiers and snowboarders. An avid snowboarder himself, Christopher spends an average of 75 days each season on the slopes. 

Christopher has written copy and worked in marketing for a variety of companies related to winter sports. He also spent several years working at a ski and snowboard shop in Connecticut as a sales associate and tuning technician. Christopher is a former member of the North American Snowsports Journalists Association (NASJA).

 

Education

Christopher studied political science at Saint Michael's College.
