There are 27 official-money tournaments, five of which are major championships. Twenty-four of those 27 events are "regular season" tournaments, followed by the three-tournament Charles Schwab Cup finale. There are two new tournaments on the schedule: the Morocco Champions (Jan. 27-Feb. 1) and the Ascension Charity Classic (Sept. 28-Oct. 4). The Boca Raton Classic moves from the February date it had in 2019 to November, becoming part of the end-of-season playoff series. Golf courses that are hosting majors in 2020 include Newport Golf Club (U.S. Open) and Sunningdale Golf Club (Senior British Open). One longtime tournament that is missing from the 2020 schedule: The Legends of Golf.
