Beth Puliti is a former writer for ThoughtCo specializing in cross-country cycling and mountain biking who has published dozens of articles in the field. Puliti is a passionate mountain biker from the White Mountains of New Hampshire and the former managing editor at a national healthcare magazine.

As a professional writer and editor, Puliti has written about mountain biking for national publications and holds professional relationships with mountain biking industry affiliates. She races when inspiration strikes and has raced in the Mid Atlantic Super Series and participated in 24-hour endurance races across the country and abroad.

Puliti is a member of the New England Mountain Bike Association and International Mountain Bicycling Association and currently lives in Vietnam with her husband.


After studying journalism and photography at Arcadia University, Puliti went on to hold editor positions in both the cycling and healthcare industries. Later, Puliti graduated from Cornell University’s T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies with a certificate in plant-based nutrition.
