Beth Cochran is a former writer for ThoughtCo who wrote about television shows and celebrities. Beth began her career in entertainment journalism in 1994 as a writer for America Media. Since that time, she has gone on to work with many of the top television shows and entertainment media outlets. Beth worked with multiplatform media giants Al Roker Entertainment, Inc., Endemol USA, Fox, HGTV, Disney ABC, Lifetime, MTV, and the Hallmark Channel. For 11 years she was a freelance writer and videographer for the Academy of Television Arts and Science, interviewing and writing stories about the top names in the entertainment industry.

Beth also wrote for several soap magazines, including Soap Opera Digest. She reported on the plot-lines and stars of four great soaps, The Young and the Restless, Another World, General Hospital, and The Bold and Beautiful. She became a producer for SOAPNet, producing the talk show Soap Talk.

 Beth Cochran received a Bachelor Arts (B.A.) in English Writing from the University of Pittsburg.
