Our Favorite Shagadelic Styles From The Hit Movies

There are few late 90s movies that were as big a hit—starting Halloween costumes, constant quoting and even copycat dance routines—than Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. The following two movies, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me and Austin Powers in Goldmember, came out in in 1999 and 2002 respectively. The series made Mike Myers an even bigger star than he already was, cementing his status as a comedic star all over the world.

More than the hilarious dialog, wild dance numbers and almost innumerable innuendo and bathroom jokes—we loved Austin Powers for the shagadelic style. The colors and silhouettes were outrageous and eye-catching, it was hard to look away! Short dresses, bright velvet, big hair and bell-bottoms—these were the signature looks of the swinging 60s in London, and they were brought to life in bigger and better ways through the films.

It's hard to believe that the Austin Powers movies were first released almost 20 years ago, but there's never a bad time to look back and remember all the best Austin Powers fashion moments. In the slideshow ahead, we're celebrating all the most memorable looks from all three of the Austin Powers movies.
