Learn about our Editorial Process Updated on 03/18/17 01 of 21 Hilariously Bizarre Hip-Hop Covers There's a Houston design firm called Pen & Pixel. P&P defined the visual style of southern rap album covers. Their covers were always so outlandish and ridiculous (like this Big Bear cover above) that you just had to stop and do a double take. I was looking at old Pen & Pixel covers the other day, and it led me down this path of looking at other hilarious hip-hop album covers. I found plenty. So many, in fact, that I thought I'd share with you. So dive in and feast your eyes on the most hilarious hip-hop album covers of all time. 02 of 21 Fat Boys - Fat Boys You know what's better than a picture of three fat guys eating? A picture of three fat guys eating miniature versions of the same three guys eating pizza in prison stripes. 03 of 21 Heltah Skeltah - D.I.R.T. Rest in peace, Sean Price, but I have sooo many questions about this album cover. 04 of 21 Sweet P - I Toast Myself Kanye would approve. 05 of 21 Criminal Elament - Hit 'Em Where It Hurt They were going to have a theme for the album cover but decided to just go ahead and use every image in their iStock package. 06 of 21 Lil Sin - Frustrated by Death I'm guessing Lil Sin is always the life of the party. 07 of 21 Cam'ron - Confessions of Fire Apparently, the first things that come to mind when you think of fire are leather overalls, a hammer and Cam'ron's greased-up body. 08 of 21 Lil Flip - The Leprechaun This is what spammy Internet pop-ups looked like back in the day: a little green guy in a Leprechaun suit, biting his lips and making face at a bowl of gold-embossed cereal. Buy Now! 09 of 21 Sumthin' Terrible - U Stupid Ladies and Gents, a self-fulfilling title. 10 of 21 Tony Tee - Time to Get Physical Let's ignore Camel Toe Guy on the left and ask the pertinent question here: Why does our boy need two spotters to lift 5 lbs? 11 of 21 Mercedes - Rear End Gives a whole new meaning to the term "double entendre." 12 of 21 Big Kuntry King - My Turn to Eat I think Big Kuntry King took the title of this song a little too seriously. 13 of 21 Mac Mall - Thizziana Stoned... It's Mac Mall swinging down a temple of mushrooms. Absolutely stunning. 14 of 21 Some Nuts Outtha Projects - Nutt'in All Over Your Face Your "wedgie face" is showing, sir. 15 of 21 Majik Most - Molesting Hip Hop I don't know Majik Most personally, but I'm going to guess that he's kind of a strange guy. 16 of 21 Top Dog - Slam Dunk'N Hoes Top Dog is slam dunk'n hoes. Lit-uh-rally. 17 of 21 Skillet & Leroy - The Okra Eaters GOAT album title. 18 of 21 Big Bear - Doin' Thangs Big Bear's Doin' Thangs has pretty much attained iconic status in the hilarious album cover circuit. It's so bad it's great. Despite the ursine theme, the music on the album has nary a thing to do with bears. 19 of 21 Sexx Fiends - Let's Get Butt-Naked It's two guys flying on a giant leather bra over a beach, landing gear and escape hatches and all. I have no idea. 20 of 21 Whatever This Is I don't know what's going on here, but I can't stop laughing at this cover. The title itself is worthy of a medal. I'll leave you with Mr. Axel's thoughts on his own album cover: "Still dont kno wat i was thinkin wit dis sh*t laced weed is a no-no." 21 of 21 $tewmac - Bustin' Nutz Our boy Stewmac here is clearly an equal opportunity offender. He may be the man to finally end injustice.
