In all, the new Bullitt Mustang was more powerful than the model released in 2001. Its exhaust note was engineered to mimic the exhaust in the 1968 Mustang GT-390 driven by Steve McQueen in the movie "Bullitt", and it posts a top speed of 151 mph. 2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang 2008 Warriors in Pink Mustang. Exterior color offerings for the Warriors in Pink Mustang package included black, metallic silver, and performance white. Proceeds from the sale of each vehicle went to benefit the Susan G. It is then was sent from the Ford factory to the Shelby American facility in Las Vegas, Nevada where it was customized. The new GT500KR sported a 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine with a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Pack. Total output was 540 hp with 510 lb.-ft. of torque, making it more powerful than that year's 500 hp Shelby GT500. The FR500S, which made its debut at the 2007 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nev., was offered up for sale to consumers through Ford Racing dealers, with an approximate price of $75,000. The car competed in the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge for the Miller Cup.
